| Starburst Plaza Rendering | Reconstruction of Benning Road NE
As part of the Great Streets Initiative, the reconstruction of Benning Road NE and the new Starburst Plaza will improve the safety and mobility for all modes of pedestrian and transportation movement. This particular project will include infrastructure for the highly anticipated streetcar and the installation of new traffic signals, streetlights, curb, gutter, sidewalks, trees, and landscaping, along with infrastructure and utility work which will include new fire hydrants and catch basins.
